“My secret garden” is a new environmental art project led by Sylvie Da Costa with the CAPA. It consists of interventions with teenagers to whom she introduces a creative process, inviting them to create a work in situ with tiles they have painted, in the manner of “azulejos”, like a dictionary open to all, illustrated with plants. This creation embellishes the public space, the entrance of the “Verger Mala 800 Zoo” also called by the inhabitants, the “secret garden”.

This new season of the environmental art project “Verger Mala 800 Zoo” allows Sylvie Da Costa to develop it with new fruits and flowers, different bridges from here and elsewhere and finally, the setting up of its handover. The artist concludes this creation by helping the neighbourhood association to appropriate it so that the inhabitants, passers-by, young and old, can continue to take advantage of this atypical, singular, greedy place to exchange, rest, pick and savour the abundance of this open urban orchard, in the Maladrerie housing estate in Aubervilliers.

This artistic-landscape creation, proposed in collaboration with the agency Wagon Landscaping (autumn 2016), was unveiled during the year in the rhythm of the seasons, on this former car park. It is planned to continue in 2018.

Sylvie Da Costa a été sollicitée pour imaginer un projet “autour de la nature” avec des seniors de la ville d’Aubervilliers. Elle propose ce projet participatif  au club seniors E. Finck qui a un espace extérieur à l’abandon. Elle réalise in situ l’installation de tables potagères pour créer un nouvel espace convivial pour tous, avec la participation de seniors pour la mise en place de semis et plantations.

This second year of plant creations for the artisan perfumer in Paris has been enriched by a wild, exuberant nature to be followed in his Parisian boutiques. Its originality pleases the brand, its public and the artist.
